Aaron also relates how Rockefeller told him that the elite created women's liberation to destroy the family and how they want to ultimately microchip and control the entire population. Spring is eeking it's way in...... finally!

Well I must say that it is so nice to have sunny days that are slowly becoming warmer as each day passes. I love the Springtime because it tells me that Summer is just around the corner.

And that brings to mind a change of clothing.... uh-o!

Now that is going to be a bit of challenge for me. It seems that since I have become the owner of an online Travel Agency and I sit in front of my computer most of the day, that I've somehow added a few unwanted pounds over the winter. Yuck!

But I am resolute to loose them quickly before these "few" pounds become "many". I am staying a healthy diet of high protiens, dark green vegetables, and of course lots and lots of water. About a gal a day! And in a week's time I've already lost 5 lbs. It won't take long for the last 10 lbs. to drop off too. Wow, how did I gain these pounds so easily and so quietly. I'm not a big eater...... although I do love the sweets! My body is so sneaky with me too. It seems that I can eat whatever I like for weeks and nothing different shows up on my scale. Then all of a sudden (long after the carefree eating has stopped) I'll hop on my bathroom scale and get the shock of my life! WHAT!?? Six pounds!!! Where did that come from! And I'm forced to think back to what I had eaten so carelessly a few weeks ago. Darn, and I have no one to blame now either, not that it would do me any good.

So I'm doing what is best for me and sticking to a healthy diet. I have to say, that I feel better and the sweet cravings are gone. Even my daughter Lisa, stopped in one day and said, "Mom, your skin looks really nice... so smooth! What did you do?" I told her I'm just drinking a lot of water, like a gallon a day. She just grinned at me. But what the heck, if it works then I'll do it gladly. I also have a friend who has lost over 10lbs by doing a 10day water fast. He says the next one he's going to do is a 30day water fast. More power to him, I say.

I've also discovered some great new things that really help with the problem of my clothes not fitting so well. It's a cream (now seriously, don't snicker) that you just rub on and within the hour you'll lose inches from your tummy, thighs, arms or wherever! I just bought some and I'll let you know how it works for me. If you listen in on a recorded call about this stuff, you'll hear from a woman who used and how it worked for her. I've heard several other women say they got the same kinds of results. I've even talked with a message therapist who used in on her face and saw some amazing tighting of the skin happening. Yah! a face lift in a tube!

But I'll go into that more on my next post....

This will be short because today I have so much I'm trying to get done. And I can't see a light at the end of this tunnel...... yet!

I do want to mention that during the day I had the occasion to learn of some others problems, which made me stop.... reflect..... and be grateful for what I have. And what I've been given. And what I am capable of doing each and every day. I am thankful for all of it.

And I remember when I was a little girl, my father would tell me, "I used to complain that I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet". Today that really came to life for me.

Thanks Dad. I love you!

More Things to Do?

Well today has flown by..... I can't believe where the time has gone! As usual more things to do and not enough time to get it all done. Does this happen to you too? I'll bet it does every once in awhile, at least.

So today I learned more about blogging. And I will tell you that there is more to this than meets the eye. Particularly if you're doing it to promote yourself on the Internet. I've now started a new blog site and as soon as it's completed I'll leave a link here for everyone to go and take a look. Your honest critiques will be appreciated! I need all the input I can get.

Tomorrow I will work a little more on this immense project of blogging, and of course, get you all updated on the latest accomplishments. Hopefully it will offer some guidance to those of you that are ready to attempt the same.

Okay, time to roll up your sleeves and Start!

Today is the best day to start your blogging and really get it going. Why is that, you ask? Well why not? Let go of the fear and indecision and just start to type. With Blogger it's fairly simple to get a blog going. And if I can do it so can you, believe me.

Go into Blogger.com and fill in the info. Pick you style of page, the way you want it to look. Remember this is not set in stone, and can be changed later and/or as many times as you like. Also, and this is important, always 'save' your work! Every time you have a button to push to save...... do it! It will save you time and headache if you make this your constant habit.

If you have any trouble or questions, just write back to me and I'll answer you a.s.a.p. I understand how it is to have started something, only to run into a glitch and not have someone to ask how to get thru it. I'll go into the next steps of adding more elements to your page tomorrow. So again, please comment and let me know what and how you are doing. I look forward to hearing from you and reading your new baby-blogs. I'll see you in a day or two :)

Where Has the Time Gone?

I cannot believe the date already.... since the Holidays, time has just flown by for me. And I'm sure it has for many others of you too. It's very cold here and I think that has a lot to do with how I relate to time. Meaning that, because I want Spring to come quickly, I stay super busy so the time passes quickly. Yes, a method to the "madness".

And now since I have finally made time to write again, I must confess something critical here. I've learned that no matter what, a real blogger will post something almost everyday, or at least 3 times a week. So guess what? I'm still learning the do's and dont's about blogging.

I have also learned that it is okay to have more than one blog! The more the merrier, provided you can keep them fairly current. That's the trick of it. And this works well because you can then have many links to all your blogs. And the more you have presence on the Net the better you become known. It's what makes you Public and findable in this huge universe of the Internet.

So find your topic and write something. And if one day it doesn't seem to put wind in your sail, then start another blog and work with it for a while. When you come back to your original one later, you will be refreshed and ready to write again. Remember..... it's just for fun and there will be no one grading (or red penciling) what you have done. It's yours alone, so name and claim it.......

The Bug Has Bitten

Hello, hello, hello Everyone!

I must tell you that since yesterday's major accomplishment of starting, and actually writing my first blog post, I feel sooooo liberated! Exhilarated!! And to coin a phrase, free to be me. Yes! I'm here world, on the Net and I have only just begun. I AM excited!!!

Today I realized that, now that I've jumped in with both feet, I really like this.... a lot. Yes, I have bitten by the blog-bug. And I can also see that I have lots to do yet with this page. It looks like it's so naked. There's no "window dressings" as one friend said to me today after reading it. So now I have to learn all the tech-y stuff to make this page one that you'll want to come back to. When I look around at what the long time pros of blogging have on their pages, I can see I have a lot of things to learn about. I am definitely a kinny-gardner in the world of HTML. But we all get to start at the beginning, and it's a good thing too. Wouldn't it be horrible to have to jump in, knowing only what we know right now, with those who have been doing this 2, 3, 5 years longer..... no, I'm happy to start right here, right now, just like this. A bright new beginner, and soon to be Star.

Is this my very first blog?

Hello new friends!.... and yes, this is my very first blog. (wow, I'm actually doing it) So I'm wondering if everyone else in the 'adult world' has had the same feelings I'm having when they first attempted to blog? I know that my children would have no problem with any of this, but they are of a whole different generation. Geeze, now I'm sounding like my parents.

I'll start out with the not so obvious. Most of us think that if we can talk, we can blog. That is mostly true, until..... And here's where the story begins. Just a day ago I finally decided to seriously get going on this blogging thing. After all, how hard can it be? I've raised 5 children and talked my head off, always trying to explain "why" to them, and had to do that a 1,000 or more times a day! Oh and I was gooood at it!

I am also a female, which gives me a HUGE advantage. Most of you know that women are given at least a 5 x's greater daily alotment of words, than what a man has. Ask any wife how much her husband has to say when he gets home. He's usually used up his share of words at work, so hasn't got much to say by the time he returns home. His poor wife has only just scraped the surface! So as a woman, I'm certainly not lacking in the 'word' department.

So... knowing how to talk and having lots to say, well, this should be easy....right? Wrong! at least for me. As I said, I finally decided to start this blog and so last night when the house was quiet, I started thinking about what I should write about, that would be interesting to the readers. Well guess what?! This is the not-so-obvious part. The "what". I thought and thought, and thought some more, and a little more, and then even more. All the way thru the night til around 4 AM. Did I come up with the perfect subject to write about? No, not really. But I did realize one thing: it's all about just plain starting. And I know now that was the biggest hurdle (or fear) to overcome. So again I'm wondering if this anxiety about actually doing it, is something we all shared in the beginning? I'm pretty sure it is. Any time we, meaning the creatures of habit that we are, move out from what is familiar to us to do something brand new, there is fear. And the thoughts of doubt race thru your mind until the wee hours, if you're like me. Can I really do this? Will it be to hard for me? Can I do it right? What if I make a mistake? Am I smart enough? Do I know all that I need to? What if someone else knows more? Should 'I' really try this? And on, and on, and on. Those doubts and fears fly thru your mind, with lightnening speed no less. And here's where you hit what I call the Great Devide. For some will let those thoughts control them and give up before they've even started. And yet others will say 'what the heck' and give it a shot. It's what my dad said was taking the bull by the horns. You just go do it, whatever that "it" is.

And that's what I've done today. I've begun. And you know what? This really wasn't difficult at all, and certainly didn't require all that worry, doubt, and loss of sleep. I'm sure I'll have lots to learn, and will improve as I continue. Uh? isn't that called practice. And doesn't "practice makes perfect" still hold true? Sure does. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks!

Oh I see now. I'm not old. Would someone please tell that to my children!
